Who is responsible
Fotosottocasa is one person working under that name, and that person is the data controller for this site. The way to reach them is fotosottocasa@proton.me, which is read by them and nobody else. There is no company behind it and nothing is sold here: it is one person showing photographs.
The name on their documents is not printed here, which the law allows as long as you can actually get hold of them. If you need it in order to exercise one of the rights below or to take the matter further, ask at that address and you will be given it.
The contact form
The form on Contacts asks for a name, an email address and a message. They are used for one thing only: to read what you wrote and answer it. Sending the form is how you agree to that, and you can take it back at any time by asking me to delete the message.
Delivery goes through Web3Forms, which passes the three fields to my mailbox. That means they travel through a provider whose servers may sit outside the European Economic Area, under the safeguards that provider declares in its own policy. Once the message is in my mailbox it stays there for as long as the correspondence is of any use, and goes when you ask.
Audience measurement
The site counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which records the page, where the visit came from, the country and the kind of device. It sets no cookie, builds no identifier and keeps nothing that points back at a person. It exists so I know which photographs get looked at.
Hosting and images
The pages are served by Vercel and the photographs by Cloudinary. Asking either of them for a file tells them your IP address, as it does with any website: that is how a request arrives and an answer gets back. Both keep it in technical logs for delivery and security, and neither is asked to do anything else with it.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. There is no banner because there would be nothing to ask you about.
The one exception is the video on Prints, and it is why that video does not load by itself. Until you click it, nothing is requested from YouTube. If you do click, the player comes from youtube-nocookie.com and from that moment YouTube knows your IP address and may store things in your browser, under Google's privacy policy. That decision is left to you.
What does not happen
Nothing here is sold, shared for advertising or used to build a profile. No automated decision is taken about anyone. There is no account to make, no newsletter and no tracking across other sites.
Your rights
You can ask what I hold about you, have it corrected or erased, have its use restricted, object to it, receive a copy of it, or withdraw the consent you gave by sending the form. One email to fotosottocasa@proton.me is enough, and the answer comes within a month. If it does not, or does not satisfy you, you can complain to the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Changes
If what the site does with data changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. There is no archive of older versions: the page always describes the site as it is now.
